Leadership

Brett Loper, Executive Director

As Executive Director of the Peterson Solutions Fund, a nonpartisan 501(c)4 nonpartisan social impact organization, Brett is responsible for leading policy and advocacy efforts across a range of initiatives designed to strengthen the economic and democratic foundations of the United States.

Before joining the Peterson Solutions Fund, Brett was Executive Vice President, Global Government Affairs, for American Express. In that role, he coordinated the Company’s engagement strategy with policy makers in the United States and countries around the globe.

Prior to American Express, he held the position of Deputy Chief of Staff to House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), serving as his chief legislative strategist. He also served in a number of senior roles in the White House and the Congress, including positions with the House Committee on Ways and Means, the House Majority Leader’s Office, and the Office of Management and Budget.

Brett received his B.A. from Villanova University and an M.B.A. from The George Washington University.
